Who’s Who: Your Central Office Team
At Springfield Catholic Schools, we are one system made up of four schools in Springfield, MO. Behind the scenes, our SCS Central Office team works every day to support teachers, students, and families at all of our schools, while also serving as a bridge between our schools and the Diocese of Springfield–Cape Girardeau.

Catholic education in Springfield is rooted in our connection to the Diocese of Springfield–Cape Girardeau. The Diocese provides vision, leadership, and support for all Catholic schools in the region, keeping us grounded in faith, excellence, and service.
- Bishop Edward Rice – Bishop of Springfield–Cape Girardeau
Provides pastoral leadership and spiritual guidance for our schools, helping us remain true to our Catholic identity. - Deacon Rob Huff – Superintendent of Springfield Catholic Schools
Helps guide the operational direction of our schools, working closely with administrators and teachers to keep the system strong and focused on mission. - Mrs. Jeanne Skahan – Director of Springfield Catholic Schools
Leads the SCS system day to day—supporting principals, families, and staff, while ensuring our schools stay aligned with our Catholic values and long-term vision.
Together, Bishop Rice, Deacon Huff, and Mrs. Skahan help shape the vision for Catholic education in Springfield. Within our system, our Central Office team carries that vision into everyday life by answering questions, guiding families, and supporting the work of our teachers and administrators.

Finance Department

From tuition and scholarships to payroll and accounting, our Finance team manages the behind-the-scenes details that keep the system running smoothly. They also support families with tuition questions and guidance about financial assistance.
Advancement and Development Department

This team shares the SCS story with the wider community while connecting families, alumni, and donors. From events like Emerald Evening to alumni outreach and marketing, they help build excitement around our mission and secure resources that help students and teachers thrive in our schools.
Food Services Department
- Kelsey McLemore, Director of Food Services
Our Food Services team ensures healthy, balanced meals are served to students every day, while also running Irish Eats Catering for events. They oversee menus, kitchens, and food safety so families can trust that mealtime is always well cared for.
Security Department
- Casey Wilkerson, Security Officer Coordinator
Every SCS campus has a School Protection Officer on site, and our Security Coordinator leads that effort. This department works with principals, pastors, and local law enforcement to keep our schools safe, welcoming, and prepared.
Mental Health Services Department
- Dr. Wanda Miller, Director of Mental Health Services
Student well-being is central to learning. Dr. Miller and her team provide counseling, crisis support, and resources to help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
