Dear Immaculate Conception Families,
It is an honor to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year. As I begin my 33rd year in education—having served as a teacher and administrator in both Catholic and public sectors—I am truly blessed to serve as your principal. At Springfield Catholic Schools, our mission is to maintain a faith-filled culture where every student is cherished as a child of God. This year, we embrace the system-wide theme, "Made for Greatness," a reminder that we were created not for mere comfort, but for a higher purpose in God.
While our community has faced significant trials following the recent arson, I am confident that navigating these challenges together, grounded in Christ, will only strengthen our bonds. We are thrilled to welcome students back. The building features fresh paint and new flooring, alongside enhanced security measures including a new server and protective window films.
I believe deeply in a culture of consistency, trust, and open communication. My "open-door" policy ensures that your voice is valued. I am committed to prayerfully reflecting on every decision, respecting our historical practices while reviewing policies to best serve our students. We are also dedicated to empowering our students to navigate challenges and learn the vital skill of self-advocacy.
We look forward to a year of spiritual and academic growth.
Blessings,
Sarah Garner
